Bosch Rotak 37li Review
The Bosch Rotak 37li Cordless lithium Ion lawn mower is the world’s first cordless lithium-ion mower that combines the power of an electric mower with the convenience of new generation cordless technology. It has a full 37cm cutting width, a rear roller for stripes and a range of cutting heights from 20 to 70mm, making it ideal for medium to larger lawns.
It uses the Efficient Energy Management (EEM), which has two primary functions. Firstly, intelligent cutting electronics maintain the blade rotation at an optimum constant speed; this smoothes out the ‘load’ requirement and saves energy. Secondly, the kinetic energy recovery system captures the energy generated by the blade run-down and feeds it back into the mower battery as soon as the motor has been switched off.
With the rear roller on the Rotak 37 Li you can gain that professional look and get stripes all over your lawn. Additionally, and importantly, the rear roller offers stability over lawn edges and prevents scalping.
The Rotak 37 Li’s Lithium-ion battery is light, weighing only 1.2kg making the mower extremely lightweight to manoeuvre. The 36V battery fully recharges in one hour with 80% charge reached in 30 minutes With no cable and no petrol to contend with why not enjoy the freedom of a new technology cordless mower.
With a large 40 litre rear-fitting grassbox, you won’t have to spend as much time emptying grass cuttings.

Read what one happy owner had to say about the Bosch Rotak 37li:
“Thank you Bosch..
We all hate mowing the lawn and not wanting a petrol mower the only alternative is electric with the hassle of cables and worrying about cutting the lawn when it’s damp – which lets face it happens most of the time in a UK summer.
I’ve been keeping an eye on cordless mowers over the past few years and up until now they’ve always seemed to be a bit of a gimmick that take heavy, car-battery sized batteries that don’t last all that long. Now with Li-Ion battery technology all that has changed. Thankfully.
My lawn is rough! A mixture of grass and is far from level. Having now used this mower for a couple of cuts – both with medium to long grass I can say it is a absolute joy to use. It’s light, easy to handle and powerful enough to get through longish damp grass, and no cables!!! It cuts better than my previous 2 Flymo electric mowers and is quicker to use as it’s so light.” (M.
